I had worked with the Prieto family many times before, photographing lots of their family milestones. This time, they reached out to me to photograph one of their daughter’s fifteen-year photos, also known as quinceañera photos. They sought to capture Ashley’s quinceañera photos in a way that reflected her spirit at this special moment of her life, and gave the images an editorial feel. So, we scheduled the session one weekday morning in Miami’s Design District. We had three different wardrobe sessions that brought out all of Ashley’s personalities.
